Payments

Hip Kids Pediatrics is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality, cost effective medical care. We accept all major credit cards and offer payment installments. Please contact our billing staff with questions regarding your statements, insurance eligibility, and payment plans.  Our direct billing number is (480) 868-2783.

For the most up-to-date information on our accepted private health insurance plans, contact our office. You may need to verify our physicians are in-network by calling your insurance directly, as online databases are not always up to date.

 
 

Insurance

REMINDER: It is your responsibility to contact your insurance prior to your visit to verify we are in network -- many times you can call the member services phone number on your card OR search for our physician’s names in their network directory. If you do not verify services, we may be able to see you as a self-pay instead, but cannot guarantee your individual coverage as plan directories and in-network designation may change.

We accept the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna: Some plans accepted (Please verify that we are in network physicians in 2025)

  • AHCCCS: CMDP, Mercy Care, Arizona Complete Health, Health Choice Arizona, United Healthcare Community Plan

    • (we do not currently take Banner University Family Plan, Care 1st, Maricopa Health Plan, Magellan, Molina, or other unlisted Medicaid plans )

    • Please ensure that the PCP on your insurance card reflects one of our physicians- if not we ask that you call and ask to change your PCP prior to being seen.

  • Arizona Care Network

  • Banner

  • BCBS

  • Cigna

  • Intel Connected Care Network

  • Phoenix Children's Care Network

  • TriCare: Some plans accepted (Please ensure one of our physicians is assigned as your PCM-Primary Care Manager)

  • United Healthcare: Some plans accepted (Please verify that we are in network physicians in 2025), Marketplace plans are NOT accepted

  • PLEASE NOTE: We Will No Longer Accept BrightHealth, we will not be accepting Medica as of January 1, 2025

  • Hip Kids Pediatrics will not be accepting any new 2025-2026 plans from the Marketplace.

    • Marketplace plans for new patients will not be accepted.

Additional Fees

There may be an additional fee up to $25 for completion of forms for use outside of the patient's medical record including:

  • Day Care Forms

  • Camp Forms

  • Family Medical Leave Paperwork

  • Immunization Records

  • Sports Physicals
